A little bit about me...

My name is Jeff and I am a self-taught photographer based out of the Bothell, WA area. I'm married to my best friend and we have two Shiba Inu dogs. She supports photographic journey, and as you can see, she loves photography too! We have two mini-me’s. Our oldest is a boy and our youngest is a girl.

My prior life, I was a Sgt. in the United States Marine Corps. At the end of my first deployment to Helmand Province, Afghanistan; I purchased my first Canon DSLR. It was an entry level Canon XSi. I've been growing and learning as a photographer ever since then.

My first professional photography job was shooting for car dealerships. I took photos of all the cars listed for sale and posted them to the dealership’s website. In turn, I upgraded my camera to a Canon 5D Classic full frame camera. At this point in my photography journey is when I started taking things more seriously. I started reviewing my current equipment and began making a list of newer equipment to help further my photography career.

I eventually left this photography job because taking the same style photos EVERYDAY became mundane. I didn’t stray far from the automotive world because I still work for a dealership, except in a different role/capacity these days. Working a different role at the car dealership still allows me to pick up my camera still but allows me to be more of a creative photographer.

With the support of my wife, I've been able to grow as a photographer and expand my experience  past automotive photography. I have come to find that I enjoy taking portraits of people, couples, families, and weddings! I find weddings to be fun and challenging.
